Colliers Macaulay Nicolls Inc., an international real estate services company with offices in San Diego County, announced Nov. 29 that it has closed a deal to buy a majority stake in the Los Angeles-area commercial real estate firm of Colliers Seeley International, Inc.

The deal is billed as one of the largest and most strategic acquisitions by CMN in its century-long history.

The Seattle-based CMN, the largest member of the Colliers International network, operates 100 offices in 21 countries, and locally in Downtown San Diego, University Towne Centre, Carlsbad and Temecula.

Colliers Seeley, with 138 brokers in 12 Los Angeles offices, and four adjacent counties, reports an annual revenue of about $60 million. Founded in 1908, Colliers Seeley will begin operating under the Colliers International name.
