Xpera Tapped to Manage Construction of Viejas Hotel Project

San Diego-based construction management consulting firm Xpera CM has been retained by the Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians to manage work on a second hotel tower currently underway at Viejas Casino in Alpine.
The tribe has not disclosed the development cost of the project, which recently had its steel-construction topping-out and is slated for completion in November. The general contractor is Swinerton Builders and the project architect is JCJ Architecture.
Officials said the project includes a new five-story, 109-room hotel tower, with a top-floor technology suite, an added gaming floor, specialty bar, ballroom and meeting rooms.
Based in Rancho Bernardo, Xpera CM was formed in 2014 as a sister company to Xpera Group.
